Founded in 1906 in the traditional southwestern industrial area, GHV looks back on over 120 years of experience in drop forging. The company name GHV goes back to the founding family "Gebrüder HalVerscheidt" and stands for artisanal tradition and technical competence to this day.
Our production, with a team of 75 employees, takes place on modern press lines with pressing forces of 630, 1,600 and 2,000 tons and covers a component spectrum with raw part weights of 0.2 to 12 kg. We process steels, stainless steels as well as titanium and nickel-based alloys, including corrosion and acid-resistant materials.
Mechanical further processing takes place on CNC turning centers and enables precise machining with narrow tolerances and high repeat accuracy.
For material preparation, we have cold shears up to Ø 90 mm as well as circular and band saws up to Ø 250 mm.
An integrated heat treatment house ensures targeted setting of mechanical properties and guarantees a consistently monitored process chain with high added value.
GHV produces forged parts for various industries:
Aerospace, robotics, medical technology, mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, defense technology, shipping, in particular compressor wheels, guide blades, guide crowns, flex spline, valve segments, shaft pins, closure nuts and stainless steel fittings.
